Shatadhauta gritam

from $17.00

Shatadhauta gritam is an incredible, topical cream made from washing ghee 100 times. Radhika makes this in small batches — she starts by culturing Strauss Family Creamery’s Heavy Whipping Cream with Protren probiotic cultures; then she takes the yogurt and churns it into butter (yielding buttermilk and butter); the butter is then heated at a very low temperature until it is clarified (ghee); finally, she washes the ghee 100 times while bathing the ghee in mantras for good health and energetic blessings. The process takes at least four days! If it is currently out of stock, please email me; more will be made.

It is an excellent cream for a variety of red rashes (heat rash, allergic reactions, contact dermatitis, diaper rash, eczema, etc), sunburn, burns, fine lines, rehydrating the skin, and more. I love to always have a personal 2oz container of it with me, just in case!
